This blog is all about my mission experience. So we will start with my mission call opening. I received my call on the 24 of April... but it was sent to my Las Vegas address while I was still attending school in Utah at Snow College. My family wanted to open it for me but I was NOT okay with that. I was graduating from Snow a week later and my family was coming up so we waited until the 3rd of May to open it. That day I graduated from Snow College, packed my life into my Toyota Avalon, said goodbye to some of the best people I have ever met, and drove up North to meet up with some of my extended family.
I had family and close friends show up to my Grandma's house and others tune into my broadcast to support me. I opened my call to find out I would serve the Lord for the next 18 months in the Jackson Mississippi Mission. Before I opened my call I was stressed, scared, nervous, happy... pretty much every emotion! But when I opened my call I felt peace and knew that my call had been made by God. He is sending me there for a reason and I am so excited for this up coming adventure.
I report to the MTC August 13th, just a short three weeks away. My mom will be updating the blog once a week with the letters and pictures I send home. I hope you all enjoy it!
